Machine Shop Experience

Through engineering coursework and design-team projects at Queen’s, as well as my manufacturing internship experiences, I have developed a broad range of practical fabrication skills. I've had the opportunity to work with CNC mills, lathes, sheet-metal bending equipment, welders, soldering tools, plasma cutters, and standard hand and power tools to manufacture, modify, assemble, and troubleshoot mechanical components. This hands-on experience helps me approach design with a practical understanding of manufacturability, tolerances, assembly, and real-world production constraints.
